I’ve been writing since I first learned how to write. My mom used to sit my sister and I down at the kitchen table with paper and pencils, and we would created our first stories.
I will never stop writing. Too many stories yet to share!
My first stories were short and terrible! I started my first novel in the sixth grade – literally writing it during class. It took me ten years working on and off to finish that story. It’s currently collecting cyber dust.
In high school, I mostly wrote horrible poetry. Let’s just skip that, all right? Trust me.
During college, I learned about NanoWrimo – National Novel Writing Month. It’s when authors all around the world try to write 50,000 in November. During one NanoWrimo, I wrote WOMAN OF HONOR. Originally intended to be a historical romance novel, it morphed and grew and became medieval fantasy romance and a trilogy to boot.
WOMAN OF HONOR is currently not available for sale as the publisher closed its doors, but I will be reediting and republishing the story, most likely in 2021. I’ve grown a lot as a writer since the story was first published!
Since then, I’ve written and published paranormal romances (superheroes and vampires and witches), historicals (mostly regencies), time travels, and epic and urban fantasies. I’ll never stop writing!
